How do you feel about adoption of children by same sex couples?
I'm going to get flamed for this.
I would rather see a child be adopted into a loving home with two moms or two dads, than to be born into a home with alcoholic/abusive/drug-addicted/etc. parents. There are so many people in our world right now that are "accidentally" having children. If a child is born into a home where dad is not around and mom is too busy trying to get her next high, I'd rather see that child go into a home with a same-sex couple that will truly love that child and each other, than to stay in a dysfunctional home where they will not be properly loved and cared for. In a world where Britney Spears can have children that she can't care for, I'm perfectly fine with seeing a same-sex couple adopting children that they CAN care for.
Mind you, I still believe that same-sex relationships are outside of God's will, but given the options, I currently have no problems with homosexual couples adopting.
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

AMEN SISTER!!!!
Interesting topic. I started thinking about this after watching an episode of Friends, you know, Ross' wife turned Lesbian, married another woman and they are raising her and Ross' son.
I don't agree with homosexuality. But I suppose I would also have to say that it is preferable for a potentially endangered child to live in a loving home than to lose their life. Although I can't help but wonder what the confusion factors might be for a child raised by a same-sex couple. I can't say for sure, but that could be just as damaging to a child as being raised in the foster system, or in a dysfunctional home. Obviously not in the same way, but still...
I don't have any answers to this, just what I can piece together in my head.
